Privacy Policy

Short version: we collect almost nothing, we never sell it, and you can ask us to show or delete whatever we hold about you.

What we collect

• Waitlist email address — the address you type into the waitlist form. That's the only personal information the site asks for.
• Cookieless aggregate analytics — we use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views and a handful of product events (waitlist clicks, demo views) without cookies, fingerprinting, or personal identifiers. Cookieless aggregate analytics only, no tracking cookies — which is also why there's no cookie banner on this site.
• Basic technical logs — our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and uptime. We don't build profiles from them.

The live demo on the landing page is a replay of account history — it runs in your browser; our analytics counts that it was viewed, nothing more. We do not use advertising trackers or sell data to anyone.

Why we collect it

• To contact you when a beta slot opens (waitlist email).
• To keep the site secure and running (server logs).

That's the full list. We won't use your email for anything you didn't sign up for, and we won't add you to unrelated marketing lists.

Where it's stored and who touches it

• Hosting & analytics — Vercel hosts the website and provides the cookieless web analytics described above.
• Backend — Railway runs our backend services.
• ML services — Render runs the machine-learning services behind the product.
• Email — waitlist addresses are stored with our email service and used only to send you the onboarding invitation. Requests go to hello@mtopscriterion.com.

How long we keep it

Waitlist emails are kept until you're onboarded or you ask to be removed — whichever comes first. Server logs rotate automatically on the hosting provider's standard schedule (typically 30–90 days).

Your rights under POPIA

You may, at any time:

• Access — ask what personal information we hold about you.
• Correct — ask us to fix anything inaccurate.
• Delete — ask us to erase your information entirely.
• Object — object to any processing of your information.

Send any request to hello@mtopscriterion.com and we'll act on it within a reasonable time, and in any event within the periods POPIA requires. If you're not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the South African Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za).

Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we'll update this page and the date at the top. We won't quietly expand collection without saying so.
